Designed by director Mike Figgis, the Fig Rig is an innovative camera support system for miniDV/HDV cameras that combines stability with the freedom of a wide range of motion. In addition, it provides a convenient frame onto which you can mount all of your accessories.
Produktbeschreibung:
The Fig Rig combines the stability of a tripod, with the framing flexibility of hand held shooting. The Fig Rig consists of a circular frame with a crossbar to mount most miniDV cameras. This simple and effective design becomes part of the camera operator’s body allowing his muscles to absorb all the shocks and transferring only smooth motions to the camera. Without straps or a harnesses, Fig Rig allows you quickly perform a wide range of motions in the same shot.
The Fig Rig accommodates many accessories such as a microphone, lights, monitor, and camera remote control. All these accessories can be positioned exactly where you need them, and allow you exceptional control over your shots while remaining unobtrusive.
Features:
Hand pads provide a comfortable and secure grip even in extreme environments
Four cable clips are supplied to keep all your wires neat and out of your shot
Crossbar is threaded with one 1/4-20”, 3/8” and 5/8” hole for additional accessory mounting
Rubber base padding provides non-slip stability when using the Fig Rig on a flat surface such as a table, floor or railing
Sliding quick release plate allows you to position and balance your camera. 3433PL sliding QR plate is standard, but other Manfrotto plates are available if needed
The entire setup can be mounted on a tripod
